Coverage

Canada Power Outage covers every province and territory in Canada. Each forward sortation area (the first three characters of a postal code) has its own page with the local electric utility, emergency numbers and live community reports. Any full six-character postal code takes you to its FSA page. The table below lists what is live today.

What coverage means

A postal code area in our directory means you can view and report outages there. It does not mean every outage will be detected: detection depends on people in that area reporting. No recent report does not prove the power is on.

Data sources

Postal code areas and coordinates: GeoNames postal code data (CC BY 4.0, geonames.org). Electric utilities and outage numbers: each utility’s official website and provincial regulators, compiled in October 2026 – numbers marked check could not be confirmed and should be verified. Severe weather alerts: Environment and Climate Change Canada.
